Dream was inspired by the dramatic clouds I saw while driving around Newcastle — bright, captivating and full of life. The seagulls flying in the breeze made it all feel even more alive. The large rose murex shell in the painting brings a surreal touch, drawing the eye upwards, symbolising a connection to nature and the freedom to rise above life's challenges.
 
The deep green sea represents the emotional flow of life, inviting you to let go and allow everything to wash away. Picture standing in cool water, surrounded by nature’s beauty, with the weight of the world slipping away.
