About Us

Where Atmosphere Becomes Tangible
I’ve been surrounded by art for as long as I can remember.
Growing up in a highly creative family, making and observing was never separate from everyday life—it was simply how I understood the world. That instinct led me into formal study, completing a Bachelor of Fine Art, Diploma of Art, Master of Fine Art and a Diploma in Art Education at the University of Newcastle.
My practice was further shaped through academic training with Paul Delprat at the Julian Ashton Art School, grounding my work in disciplined observation and traditional technique.
Early in my career, I moved into the commercial creative industry, working with A Couple of Cowboys on the internationally released interactive board game Atmosfear: The Third Dimension. Producing over a thousand illustrations, the experience was both intensive and formative—shaping my understanding of scale, process and creative discipline.
Alongside this, I also teach full-time, supporting others in developing their creative paths while continuing to build my own.
Over time, a quieter realisation began to take hold:
I wanted to bring that same level of commitment to my own work.
That shift continues to inform my practice today—an ongoing commitment to giving full attention to a life in art.

ARTISTIC PRACTICE
This philosophy underpins my current practice.
I am an Australian contemporary artist working across oil painting and fine illustration, creating atmospheric works that explore coastline, emotional landscape and quiet surrealism.
My practice is focused on translating environmental mood, natural form and emotional atmosphere into visual experience. Rather than narrative storytelling, my work explores presence, light, colour harmony and the subtle psychological language of line and tone.
Working through layered oil glazing and refined drawing techniques, each work is built slowly, allowing depth, luminosity and tonal complexity to develop over time. The process reflects the themes present within the work—balance, transition and quiet transformation.
I am particularly drawn to natural motifs such as shells, water, sky and feminine portraiture, which I approach as structural and atmospheric forms within space rather than literal symbolism.
My work is created for collectors and interiors seeking contemplative, enduring and emotionally resonant art—works designed to be lived with and experienced over time.

SCALE, FLEXIBILITY & COMMISSIONS
I work across a range of formats to suit residential, commercial and hospitality environments.
Large-scale originals (up to A0 and beyond) are developed for architectural spaces and feature walls, while mid-size works and limited editions offer flexibility across private homes, workplaces and curated interiors.
Commissions are developed in conversation with clients and designers. Each is shaped in response to colour palettes, spatial dynamics and design intent—whether a single work or a considered suite for a larger environment.

INTERIORS, HOSPITALITY & EXPERIENCES
Art should do more than fill a wall. It should change how a space is experienced.
In residential, hospitality and commercial settings, artwork influences how people move through a room, how long they linger, and how a place is remembered. In these environments, art becomes part of the spatial experience—contributing atmosphere, rhythm and emotional depth.
My work is created with this relationship in mind. Whether placed in a lobby, suite, corridor or private living space, each piece is designed to sit naturally within architecture while adding a layer of presence that reveals itself over time.
PROFESSIONAL COLLABORATIONS
Alongside private collectors and interior clients, I have collaborated with brands and organisations seeking meaningful creative partnerships.

EDUCATION & BACKGROUND
My formal training spans illustration, printmaking, design and painting, supported by a Master of Fine Art and extensive multidisciplinary study in visual arts.
This foundation informs a practice that is technically refined, materially considered and conceptually grounded.
My work is held in private collections across Australia, Asia, the United States and Europe, and has been featured in national and international media.
