Artwork description

Beyond Time is a limited edition Nobbys Beach art print by Australian artist Carmen Delprat, reproduced from her original 2025 oil painting. It explores spaciousness: a suspended moment where atmosphere softens and perception expands.

A luminous sky unfolds in layered blues, softened pinks and violet undertones, anchored by a low horizon and reflective silver sea inspired by Newcastle's Nobbys Beach. At the centre, a subtle spiral draws the eye inward, a quiet gesture of return and continuity.

A single seagull rises into the expanse, captured at the threshold between stillness and ascent. The composition rests in this suspended interval, a moment just before movement becomes transformation.

The original was created slowly through layered oil glazing, giving the surface depth and internal luminosity. Beyond Time is intended for interiors seeking calm visual presence and contemplative atmosphere, a piece to be lived with, rather than merely viewed.

Elements within the work reference themes of continuity, memory and transition.
