She has worked prolifically in a range of mediums and she enjoys being able to transition from one to the other allowing her imagination to flow. Carmen has studied fine art at the University of Newcastle graduating with a Bachelor of Visual Arts (1991), Diploma in Visual Arts (1993), Studied art at the Julian Ashton School of Fine Art, Sydney NSW with her family connection - the principal Paul Delprat (1996-1998), Completed a Master's Degree in Visual Arts (2000), and Diploma in Art Education (2001).
